Boring Monday....

Attended an 'interesting' lecture today..
It was interesting cuz..

1) i was listening intently... I HAD to anyway, this lecturer is damn smart. He can pick pple out by lookin at their eyes.. Those who r stoned/spaced out/not payin attention/sleepy etc.. haha...

2) it was abt Gender & Health...

What i learnt today is that, Gender does not necessarily mean only "male / Female".. It can be categorised according to other definitetions besides biologically.. Gender is also determined socially, culurally or psychologically..

N according to the WIKIPEDIA (Free Encyclopedia) , the definition of Gender is as follows :
The word gender describes the state of being male, female, or neither. Some languages have a system of grammatical gender (also known as noun classes); while a noun may be described as "masculine" or "feminine" by convention, this has no necessary connection to the natural gender of the thing described. Likewise, a wide variety of phenomena may have gendered characteristics ascribed to them, either by analogy to male and female bodies, such as with the gender of connectors and fasteners, or due to social norms. In social sciences, the word "gender" is sometimes used in contrast to biological sex, to emphasise a social, cultural or psychological dimension. The discipline of gender studies investigates the nature of sex and gender in a social context.

A whole truckload of crap for most?? hahahaa....
Well, i guess it just made me see things from another perspective...

Anyway, during our 'break' in the middle of the lecture.. The Lecturer made us all stand up and form a straight line in ascending order of height..
N his point of doing it is
1) to wake us all up..
2) to prove a point... abt wat his lecture was abt..
Anyway, by now.. i forgot what he said..hehehe...

N i noted that, i was actually standing in the front 5.. I knw im short.. But here, i m probably considered even shorter.. N oooo... the best part, im not that big size!!! I m asian!! 'small size'
HAHHAAA...


**I suspect my cookies were stolen this time.. But not sure.. Cuz i dunno could i have eaten it the last time.. n forgot the number left.. urghh..** <<--- written few hrs ago..

Anyway, time to get stressed.. Assignments all due soon... groanss...
i hate stats.. Quantitative research..
N did i say tt i can enjoy reading articles the first week i was here??
MY ASS!! I take back my words..
If i can, i'd like to burn ALL the journals in the library. N possibly all my notes..But that would mean i will fail my assignments.. so.. sighh...


Stressing over my airticket... When to return? Which airline??
Can i jsut row boat back? sigh...


Okie.. time to go sleep now...
Gotta wake at 6plus tmr for my pilates.. heehee... I actually enjoy it..
The only time the whole week i actually wake before 12noon..
