"Mad" people on Melbourne Tram 86 route..

Right.. i SHOULD be more politically correct...
It is not 'mad'.. But ermm.... Let's call these people ' mentally challenged'..

A summary of my encounters this week alone...
On Friday... on the tram on the way to the city..
A young chap sat next to me... He boarded the tram topless..
Holding this tshirt in a bundle in his hand..
It was a hot day, n well... U do get guys walkin about topless at times...
Now.. nothing surprising havin a topless guy sittin next to u on a tram..
But havin one that started talkin to himself, and starin at his mirror reflection and talkin to it..
CAN make a person feel startled..
What did this guy do through out the 15mins ride?
He got up n stood by the seat... Talked to himself... Don and doff his top a few times..
Sat down again and just kept talkin through out...
I tried 'evesdropping' on his 'interesting dialogue' n all i caught was 'fuck' being said many times..
hahahaa..
What did i do then? with such a guy sitting next to me? Nahh... i did not get up n move away..
By now, im quite used to such people.. Normally i just keep my eyes/ears open n get ready to bolt if one starts being a bit too nutty OR racist..
I was just pretending to listen to my music n keepin my eyes shut pretendin to sleep..
Cuz i DID NOT want him talking to me..
Oh yea... its always damn common to have strangers suddenly talkin to u on trams..
N i was not in an entertaining mood so i just tune out...

Normally, the people are not abusive or rude la.. Just 'overly friendly' n 'too chatty'..

Saturday morning... While waitin for a tram..
Due to some ??? tram line problems.. we had 2trams just breezing past us without stopping..
This guy who had been waitin for ages, had had 4trams breezing past him..
N he was pissed to the max..
So what did he do?
Oh... first, he jumped in front of a coming maintenance truck to ask the driver what is wrong..
Almost ran him down.. N driver din bother to reply him..
After that, he decided to jump in front of an oncoming tram to ask the driver too...
SERIOUSLY, i got a shock cuz he was damn close to get hit.. Tram driver gave him some duhh answer...
While this was goin on, Man was saying that he hates aussies.. And that he is from.. scotland..
N we did get on the tram in the end... n found out wat was wrong...
So... it was a highly entertaining morning for me while waitin for the tram....
Lesson learnt... Jumping in front of vehicles does not give u the answers u want..

I do think the tram that i take all the time is full of mentally challenged people...
After so long here... I gathered that the favourite Word that most aboriginals love using when they board the tram is "FUCK"...
N most of the time, they are half drunk... Talking really loudly and behaving fairly obnoxiously..
It is no wonder that the aussies discriminate against them??

The other day, had this elderly aboriginal gentleman seemingly very drunk sitting behind me...
I was damn worried he will sit next to me la.. hahaaa...
N was wondering did he wash his hair since he was sittin behind me...
Scarli, i kena headlice how? hehehehee...
So mean of me rite? sighh.... I shld not be so discriminating..
The silly thing is.. I never change seats thou i have weird people sittin around me..
I just feel that it is so discriminating to do that just cuz.. they are not normal...
Then again, of course if they start being abusive, i will run..
But thankfully, no such encounters yet.

Conclusion??
Tram 86 to the city has many 'mentally challenged' people and people with 'behaviour problems' on it... You are bound to see a few every now and then...
At least i do... quite often...
