1st day of CNY (4th day in Sydney)
Did go to the few 'famous' spots to take a look.. For example, Circular Quay, Sydney Opera house, Paddington Market, The Rocks Market, Chinatown, Bondi Junction, Manly Beach(in the nite), etc..
Not many places i went i think? haaa... Plannin to go Bondi Beach before i go...
Thou i did not go to all the sights n book myself on all the day tours etc etc..
I did really enjoy myself the past few days..
**THANKS to Maine, Lixia, Charlene N garin.. For showin me abt n all...
What i did enjoy was just being around them... Being close to maine n havin known her since college days...
N the others also knowing me indirectly thru her... I just felt really comfy being around them etc..
It was the excellent company which made me feel so at home n glad..
I really am glad i spent CNY here with them... It felt like 'home' away from home.. haha..
Just the familiarity n being ard someone im very close to (n who i love dearly) was great...
We ate ALOT the past few days... I think i probably would put on a couple more kilos on the few kilos that i have gained in the past couple of weeks.. hahahaaa.....
We have been eating ALOT ALOT...
First... Went to The Rocks today.. The Rocks is near the harbour..
Where Circular Quay, Sdyney Harbour, Sdyney Opera House are..
We had Lunch at this German Restaurant -- ???? name...
Food was really nice... We had Pork Knuckles..
PIG YEAR must eat pork rite>? hehe..

This dish was fairly huge.. We shared it among 4 of us... One guy & 3 girls.. N we could not finish it.. It was just ALOT of meat.. But it was lovely!!! Esp the crispy pork knuckle n mashed potatoes.. Yummy!!!

After a really heavy lunch, went to walk along Circular Quay...
To take pics at the 'must-take-pics' spot when u come to Sydney...
Aka Sydney Opera House & Sydney Bridge
Following which, went to check out The Rocks Market..
Dont think it is that good.. Paddington Market is way better...
But the thing i liked about the place is that it is surrounded by really nice old buildings..
Which i really really love being ard.. ( i love all things antique n quaint la..)
Then we headed back to Chinatown to get abalone.. hahahaa...
Cuz when i called home for CNY eve.. My uncles were askin me did i eat abalone..
So we decided to go get a can of abalone n eat it for the sake of eating it on CNY..
hehehee....
Chinatown was packed.. whooaaa....

*** THIS is super gross la.. Its a boutique called 'Dangerfield' that sells fairly pricey dresses etc.. N i would think has better taste than this... How unglam n yucky can their boutique decorate their models... ***
It wwas a really hot day... So we were all so glad to be headed home for dinner...
Chinatown has this place called "Market City" that has all the factory outlets..
But it looked kinda dodgy.. Basically, Chinatown just look Dodgy la...
They were tellin me to be careful when im here... Cuz u can get pickpocketed..
Charlene lost her hp in the Market City... N its not very safe here...
Dinner was our soup last nite with abalone... N fish..
A simple fare.. BUT it was such a nice break from all the food we had ate the past few days..
hahaaa... N we made desserts.. Almond Jelly & Kueh Dahdah..
I did the simple almond jelly.. hahaa..
Maine did the Kueh Dahdah.. it was really nice..... yummyyy...
Ages since i tried such nice malay dessert...
I went to bed with the tummy of a 5 mth pregnant woman..
HAHAHAHHAA......
It was nice walkin about. Sdyney definitely has more sights n places to go...
But then again, it is aso more crowded n messy...
I like it in a way.. But i still prefer Melbourne's peace n safety... hahahahaa.....
